What our casing classes actually mean

These are the four numbers your client or consultant will look for on the specification. Ours are type-tested, not self-declared.

T2

Thermal transmittance

≤ 0.5 W/m²K through the casing panel — the heat you paid for stays in the air stream.

TB2

Thermal bridging

Frame to panel conduction limited, so no cold bridges and no condensation streaks on the casing.

L1

Air leakage

Less than 0.15 l/s·m² at 400 Pa negative pressure — leakage you can ignore in the energy calculation.

D1

Casing strength

Panel deflection under 4 mm/m at design pressure; doors and frames stay sealed under load.

Compliance

Certified, documented and traceable

EN 1886

Type-test report for casing mechanical and thermal performance.

Eurovent

Certified airflow, power and recovery performance data.

AHRI 410 / EN 308

Coil capacity and recuperator efficiency independently verified.

CE & PED

Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC declaration and technical file.

ISO 9001

Annual audits, material traceability, calibrated test equipment.

VDI 6022

Hygienic design, cleanability and indoor air quality compliance.

Air handling unit installed in a plant room
Application

Specified into projects across Europe

Whether the brief is a GMP Grade B filling line, an operating theatre to DIN 1946-4, a data hall with N+1 redundancy or a commercial retrofit with a tight shaft, the same engineering process applies: read the standard, select the unit, document it.

  • Pharmaceutical — Grade A–D areas with cascading pressure control.
  • Healthcare — theatres, isolation rooms, sterile corridors.
  • Data centres — continuous duty, redundancy and free cooling.
  • Commercial — offices, airports, hotels, retail and education.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is your minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum. We regularly ship single units for retrofit projects as well as container loads for new builds. Freight cost per unit is lower on consolidated orders, so we always quote both options.

Can you build to a European voltage and control protocol?

Yes. 400 V / 50 Hz three-phase is standard for European shipments, and we supply Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet MS/TP or BACnet IP on the unit controller. 230 V single-phase units are available below 7.5 kW.

Do you supply EN 1886 type-test reports?

We supply the casing type-test report and the certified fan performance data with every quotation. Full Eurovent certification documents are included for the certified ranges.

What is the real lead time for a custom unit?

Standard modular configurations ship in 15 working days. Units with non-standard materials, H14 HEPA sections or third-party components take 25–30 working days. Production only starts after approved drawings.

Can you work from a consultant's specification?

Regularly. Send the specification clause or the equipment schedule and we mark up compliance line by line, flagging any deviation before you commit — no silent substitutions.

Send us your schedule — selection back in 24h

Airflow, static pressure, temperatures. That is enough for us to return a compliant selection, budget price and dimensioned drawings.
